Attendess learned about the history of early cattle ranching in Florida and Adams Ranch family tradition of raising quality cattle grown naturally on open Florida pastures using only natural cattle breeding, calving, weaning and growing practices to produce beef that is healthier, more tender and better tasting! |

2022 02-10 EDC's 8th Annual Leadership Dinner finalist interviews video The EDC's prestigious Pete Hegener Leadership Award was presented at its eighth annual leadership dinner on Feb 10, 2022. The award is presented annually to a dedicated business leader who has made significant contributions to St. Lucie County’s economy and quality of life. Finalists, who most embody the leadership and community mindfulness of the award’s namesake, Pete Hegener, were selected from a field of 13 nominees include Philip Busch, Southern Eagle Distributing; Rob Lord, Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, retired; and and Howard Tipton, St. Lucie County. Semi-finalists included Frank McShane, TAMCO Florida; Marygrace Sexton, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company; and Upendo Shabazz, Allegany Franciscan Ministries.
