Warehouse, Distribution & Logistics

The Warehouse, Distribution and Logistics sector is a targeted industry in St. Lucie County, with approximately 200 businesses and over 3,300 employees.

St. Lucie County is home to companies in these sectors including FedEx Ground, Southern Eagle Distributing, Walmart Distribution, Freshco, Amazon Delivery Station, Coca Cola, Natalie's Orchid Island Juice and Total Truck Parts, just to name a few.  These domestic and international brands are being complemented by new companies to St. Lucie County  including Amazon First-Mile Fulfillment and Cheney Brothers.

In 2020, the St. Lucie County School District began offering a Global Logistics and Supply Chain Technology Career and Technical Education program to educate and train students for these growing in-demand careers.  

Additionally, the St. Lucie EDC has commissioned a warehouse, distribution and logistics study by Boyette Strategic Advisors to continue efforts in growing the talent pipeline in the region.
